Helps in big beatdown decks. They've got the mana to spare.

@ EdgarPoeAllen
Stupid.
Like you?

I like the new art, but this one is so nice! I'd like to own a copy with the old art... I wonder how many people noticed the evil face drawed between the pages of the book!

The card is balanced, I don't know what people want to gain for 4... Drawing an extra card each turn can put you so much ahead than your opponent! For me, this card is a solid 4/5.

This was hot sheet back in the day... What do you kids use to draw cards every turn nowadays?

Diviner's wand is a good choice in a wizard deck, and you can use it more than once/turn, and it buffs the equipped creature.

The downside is that it needs to be equipped to a creature to function, but it attaches to wizards for free.

8 mana to draw one card (which would be the same as cycling it), 12 to draw two cards, far to expensive.
