Nice hair, Jace. Glad you remembered to comb today. You seem to have trouble with that.

(Or maybe he just gets hood-hair?)

I think that of the two decks, Vraska is going to have more sheer power, especially considering that her -3 can kill Jace directly. Jace players are going to have to get pretty clever, but that's why they're blue mages to begin with, right?

On a side note, Jace's +1 should go a long way to keeping Vraska's Assassin tokens away from your neck, so that's a plus.

Edit: I just realized that if you manage to get Jace's -8 to go off, you can actually cast Vraska the Unseen from her own deck. Kind of cool how each Planeswalker's ultimate ability is like an alternate ending to the duel.

Default Ending: One Planeswalker beats the other, while the loser escapes with their life.
Alternate Ending 1: Jace uses his mind magic to convert Vraska to his cause, securing peace in Ravnica.
Alternate Ending 2: Vraska's assassins kill Jace, upsetting the balance in Ravnica forever.

Looks exactly like Le Chiffre from Casino Royale.

Really looking forward to this pair of decks, in my favorite colors no less.
A TON of great reprints they've got lined up for us.

I love the palette of these. After all the gloomy art of previous sets, both this look and Theros's bright look is a welcome relief.

Good Jace, not so good art

I'm sorry but this art looks just too soft, looks like something painted by Bob Ross "And let's just put a happy Jace right here... there".

Just a program note for tonight's performance - the role of "Jace Beleren" will be performed by Mads Mikkelsen, instead of Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
