This card epitomizes everything that Jace's deck is about; it's a mill engine, it's card advantage, and it's a beefy Illusion all in one lovable package.

I'm sure there are plenty of players here who purchased the Psychic Labyrinth deck from M14, so most of us ought to already be familiar with this guy, for better or worse. Personally, I always liked tapping out for the fish, but I was often disappointed when I failed to mill over anything I could cast. It always felt like such a wasted opportunity when some huge blowout spell could have been waiting there for me.

Fortunately, Jace's deck has been very well designed and there's a clever way that you can make sure you'll mill into an Instant or Sorcery spell here. Once you have your 6 mana secured, leave the Mindseeker in your hand and keep two mana available for Memory Lapse. It's as simple as Lapsing a good spell and casting the Mindseeker next turn, folks.

If they don't cast anything worth Lapsing, Jace's deck... (see all)

If you discard with Jace's Mindseeker a sorcery or an instant that has also a Strive cost, can you cast it for the Strive cost? I'm referring to the new cards from Nyx.
