I feel like this + Cloudshift + global ETB effects could be fun. Cathars' Crusade perhaps?

@Farmer.
Then you pass turn, and they get an untapped board verse your completely tapped board. Yeah doesnt sound like much of a lockdown.

Another beautiful common for Jace's deck. Some players might bemoan paying 4 mana for a 1/2 creature, but I've always enjoyed the steeper cost of this card.
I'm not sure if there's a word for it, but some cards just feel satisfying to tap out for, as if their mana cost gives the card some sort of literal weight. One of the more amusing parts of a card like Archaeomancer is that your opponent will often be annoyed at the card advantage it brings you, but just won't feel right about wasting removal on it. It's just a 1/2 after all, what harm could it do?
And then they realize that the card you returned to your hand was Peel from Reality.
