seems like a crucial card if white/ blue heroic is ever going to be big competetively

You all are forgetting the very best card that goes with this creature. The good old fashioned Fireball. Target all of your opponents' creatures as well as the Battlefield Thaumaturge, and you essentially get two free mana to pump up the damage, AND activate its Heroic ability to boot, so the card doesn't die from the Fireball's damage and protecting it from most other spells to boot!!

To make it even more broken, add a Goblin Electromancer and a Guttersnipe. For the lulz.

I love the potential I see in this card. Anything with X in the cost that works on X target creatures becomes ridiculously cheap!

For this block, Glimpse the Sun God is a good choice--for 1 white, tap down your opponents creatures, tap creatures you control to trigger their heroic effects, and/or tap creatures you don't want to risk attacking for their inspired effects. Oh, and scry 1 while you're at it.

2/1 for 1 U and 1 colour less is not bad, but the card got limitations like the instant or sorcery card
need to target creatures. It'll be a value card and see constructed play, because it gains hexproof
when it's necessary to protect it. And some removal cards for instance will cost less and that's unique!
An easy 5 star card.

With this in play you can Launch the Fleet for one white mana, then after dealing damage, untap them all as 2/2 boars for 2 blue mana with Curse of the Swine.
