Sometimes it's the simple cards that win games. This is a good fifth or sixth pick in Limited.

Is it really worth the extra mana cost to switch Courier Hawk's power and toughness?

Amazingly, this isn't a functional reprint of anything.

Well, in some regards it's better than the simple Wind Drake. A wee-bit more vulnerable, but can act as a target for your auras since it can be good for both offense and defense.
I admit that it's not all that great, but in limited, you'll do well not to underestimate the combination of flying and vigilance.

Yeah, I saw this and my first thought was 'If this was Ravnica...'

This card is actually not half bad. It's not half good, but it's not half bad either.
2 power, flying, and vigilance. We know that 5 mana is too much, and we can guess that 2 mana might be quite greedy.
At {W}{W} it'd be worth an uncommon slot.
A 2/2 version would easily be a good deal at 1WW.

Seems like a very solid pick in a draft. Being able to attack in the air, while still being able to be thrown in the way of your opponent's ground attack sounds very solid in Limited.
