Um... Should enchanted creature lose flying too?

I think this is a fair effect for blue that's a tad underrated. This allows you to almost completely ignore a fattie that your opponents control with the natural upshot that you don't need to leave your flyers open for blocking.

It's certainly not a tournament standard effect, but from a kitchen table/limited standpoint it will get the job done. My only problem with it is that it doesn't cause a flyer to lose flying, which is expected from a flavor standpoint.

Seems comparable with Pacifism if you're not enchanting a gigantic creature, in that you don't have to worry about the enchanted creature attacking you but might have to worry about its abilities. They get to block some damage with the creature still, but with blue removal I'll take what I can get.

@Flyheight what do you mean it can't pump? Of course it can. Try an Oppressive Rays instead :p

Chant of the Skifsang is one mana more for over double the effect.

I just recently built an enchantments matter Simic deck using things like Eidolon of Blossoms, Kruphix, God of Horizons, and a bunch of other useful things to draw lots of cards and ramp into obscene amounts of mana. I got totally wrecked at the Journey to Nyx game day, as 3 of my 4 opponents were all running Master of Feasts and Desecration Demon.

Those 2 demons were pretty much the only things that I couldn't handle and everyone was running them. This card is the answer I need. Draws me cards if my Eidolons are out, stops Dec demon dead in his tracks, and keeps the Master sitting there drawing me extra cards which I can keep hold of whilst my opponent has nothing.

And it'll even stop a Polukranos, a Stormbreath Dragon (even when he's monstrous he's barely a threat).

Yeah, I can get behind this card.

Sensory Deprivation is one mana less and is half the effect. This effect is not particularly powerful most of the time so each mana might as well add twice the effect. In most cases -13/-0 is not really going to do anything more than the -6/-0 does.

I pinned a Heroes' Bane at the prerelease. Completely neutered it. =p *Look at me, I'm a 0/4 that can't pump anymore* LOL. XD While this card may not quite be pacifism, it's certainly very useful.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
