Nice to see this effect in a Standard legal set. It has been a long time since Oust. It feels better for White to do this to creatures than to throw them into oblivion.

I'm on the fence about charting this into a Commander Roon deck. On the one hand, flickering this is going to leave a fair number of threats on the bleachers for a while. However, you may not be able to GET that many plains before getting the Colossus (certainly not on the level of what Emeria, the Sky Ruin) wants. Still, I kind of anticipate having three plains on average ready by the time this shows up, so at least it sidelines threats for longer than Oust.

That's some good value for the one mana over Vedalken Dismisser!

Really cool, for a 7-drop.

I do enjoy the requirement to make a "Chiseled" Joke every time you play it. Now that's flavor.

I love this card.

The art is really cool- the towering effect is nice, and there's something pleasing to the eye about the marble and gold color scheme of the Giant.

I see a future as a monowhite EDH card for this guy. Big creatures are great, big creatures with removal stapled onto them are better. And tucking, in EDH, is the best kind of removal because of how the command zone works

Looks at name... looks down at art that has two eyes... sets card down... walks away slowly.

I like it. It's got a good body, albeit a bit expensive. Has a great ETB effect for commander hate.

I also really like the art.

EDH aside, this card is also gonna get appreciated in casual play. Since, for the same reasons, a big creature stabled with removal is always a great thing to have.
And in casual settings, you usually don't worry much about getting to 7 mana. I mean, it's still hard, but it's not on the "if you reach this amount of mana you should be doing much more epic things...or have already lost".

Yeah, 7 mana is big, but all things considered, it's quite a balanced card. 5/6 is nothing to sneeze at (even though it's "beneath the curve") and the stabled removal is not weak either, it'll take your opponent several turns to take his creature back (normally)

In so many ways this can be better than destruction or even exile. This guy gets rid of the eldrazis, Avacyn, the turned-on gods... lots of goodies that destruction just doesn't work on.
