The logical conclusion of smaller and smaller heroic creatures. Pretty sweet.

This appears to be part of a flavor cycle where we see UBR, the nonheroic colors of the previous sets get a traditional hero (ie. +1/+1 counter per trigger). This guy, Bloodcrazed Hoplite and War-wing Siren.

Turn 1: Mountain, this.
Turn 2: Mountain or Forest, 2 Titan's Strength or Giant Growth.
That's 9 damage on turn 2 and leaves a 3/3 behind to get bigger.
I like her. (Pretty sure it's a female satyr, hard to tell.) Loving the flavor too. Between this and Setessan Oathsworn it's good to see that the flavor on Satyr Rambler isn't 100% true.

This is a neat 1/1 for one mana. The Heroic ability keeps this soldier relevant as the game goes on. It's low cost makes it super efficient to get out early. Deals minimal damage in the early game, but has potential to be something special as the game goes on. Versatile, cheap, and good. I like it.
