Terrifying for limited.

A rather big mana-cost. Speaking of which, I do like to compare her with Serra Angel.
Unbuffed, they do the same amount of damage. In terms of toughness however, this is more fragile, but more rewarding when buffed because of double-strike. This is less active in the field (without vigilance, you have to decide to either defend or attack, with Serra Angel, you have more freedom to do what you want) also.
So, all-in-all, Serra Angel still gets the upper hand in general, but I think that this card has it's own charm, in that you feel the "high risk, high reward" much more than the safer, but more sure, Serra Angel.
I think it remains a rather solid card, especially if you take in consideration that she belongs in a set where buffing creatures up is the norm rather than the exception.

Who's-in-standard aside, I'd rather just play Skyhunter Skirmisher and pass her some power-boosts.

Just a bigger Skyhunter Skirmisher. Perhaps that's good enough.

Oh thank goodness. They FINALLY printed a passable griffin. Wait a second...
Amusingly, it isn't even a knight.
