Way, Way, WAY BAC-- around 1995 or so? Magic's second expansion, Antiquities, focused on the Brother's War, a time *before the very COLORS OF MAGIC* had been discovered yet. A time when Dominaria was just beginning to learn the name "Urza", -before- he was Urza Planeswalker.
A Time AEONS after the long-forgotten race of the Thran buried and locked away the menace of Phyrexia and its dark master Yawgmoth. The world was different then.


"Koilos" is the name of the cave where the Gateway to Phyrexia was first discovered by Mishra, Artificer Prodigy and his brother Urza, working as Argivian Archaelologists to uncover the secret history of the Thran and their fabled Powerstones
