Actually better than many other counterspells in multiplayer.
Countering spells is one very good way to make enemies, which is disadvantageous.
With this, you can be like:
"Dude, I'm sorry, but I just can't let you do that. Look, at least you can draw a card, right?"
It still sucks, and your opponent still will probably be sour, but it's definitely lessening the blow.

Technically has the same card advantage as Cancel, but I prefer it. If my deck is better than his my card draw should be worth more.

@DaLucaray: In Draft however you're more likely to be playing multiplayer, so it's card advantage for two players only.
