Very effective reanimation with not much of a draw back. Combos well with putrid imp to get your big creatures to the graveyard fast.

I once interrupted a game between a kitchen table player and a then-standard player in a coffee shop. At my behest, the newbie, who was losing, cast Animate Dead targeting his opponent's Sun Titan returning Animate Dead enchanting Sun Titan returning Animate Dead enchanting a Phantasmal Image of Sun Titan returning Battle Rampart. The more experienced player quietly conceded. I felt bad.

In case it took you two or three times to understand the oracle text :

"When you cast this spell, target a creature in any graveyard.

When Animate Dead enters the battlefield, put target creature on the battlefield under your control. Animate Dead gains the Aura type and "enchant creature put onto the battlefield with Animate Dead". Attach Animate Dead to the creature put on the battlefield by this card.

Enchanted creature gains -1/-0.

Whenever Animate Dead leaves the battlefield, sacrifice enchanted creature."
