Probably too situational to be good. But hey, it would probably be fun to lay down on somebody.

I don't know. Playing against Jund would be fun- THERE'S your anti-Blightning tech. And, oddly enough, I have seen Jund being played in Vintage. It didn't do too badly, either.
Getting off an Incremental Blight or Incremental Growth would be entertaining as well, as would any of the plethora of mass targeted cards out there... it's like playing a mini- My Wish Is Your Command, a fun little slice of Archenemy without the hassle of having to know more than one person.
Though, to be fair, you could probably get this effect with any of the blue and/or red target-changing spells, like Swerve. In that regard, this isn't exactly "broken". But, frankly, the flavour alone makes it too entertaining to pass up.

Pretty odd.
A precursor to Mindslaver, but just the one spell gets cast. Much less useful, but also a lot cheaper.
Also, that art! In what way is that a word of command?
