Before you use this card, you need two things:
1. An enemy creature with high Toughness
2. A way to destroy it. If you can set it up you can make your opponent lose nice amount of life. But it's a slow combo and usually not worth it.

Just put it on creatures that your opponents have that have strong sacrifice abilities

This would be great on a creature that can be sacrificed, but then watch out he doesn't sac in response.

Ideally, go for the tap & sac creatures, before their summoning sickness wears off.
