And, for all you newfools, I'll tell you: this card is GOOOD.
Seems powercreep has made incoherent 8-year olds out of more than a few.
Also, look at it. LOOK AT IT. That sh*t's a clear 5/5 stars.

Play with, you guessed it, Ixidor. Also, since morph creatures have no abilities, Muraganda Petroglyphs. Of course, if you're making a morph deck, there are better choices.

I like how interesting this guy is. I shoved one in a loopy blue ninja deck as a nice defender who can jump into the red zone if I can get him through and turn him into something else.

Instead of just berating people for being noobs, I'll explain why this card is good:
1. Even if you just play it face up, not many mono-blue creatures have a staggering 5 toughness for 2 mana. Murmuring Phantasm and Dream Stalker are the only two others I can think of, and both are cards from much later sets. Dream Stalker also has a clause that can make it tough to cast on turn 2 without returning a land to your hand, which is something a blue deck may not want to do. This can stifle big threats and aggressive starts until you have your other defenses in place. This can safely block Giant Solifuge, Boros Reckoner, Wild Nacatl, and many others.
2. When you don't need a blocker and just need another dude, you can play this face down for 
. Damage used the stack back then, so you could optionally put your 2 damage on the stack, before morphing to absorb da... (see all)
