He's can be useful because he can prevent damage to a player as well as creatures, which means if he manages to hang around for a while, he's a bang for his buck. He's great with pain lands ( Battlefield Forge etc) and other self inflicted wounds. But outside of a white deck, there is certainly better 2 mana creatures. He's from the olden days, so I cut him some slack. 2/5

Very weak, because it isn't a surprise. It's repetible, but the opponent know that you can prevent 1 damage and can play around.
Much better Bandage, even without the "draw a card" stuff.

The whole prevent 1 damage thing is really weak.
