Lets you turn that army of Saprolings into actual blockers!
Problematically, they'll still only have 1 power to go with their 3 toughness, so there you have it.

Or other 2/1 creatures, white's got a lot of them. And at least one 3/1 (Blade of the Sixth Pride). If you go into white's allied colors, there are a couple of 4/1s.
