@BOngRipper420: I'm assuming by "hits card" you mean "white card"? In which case, very true. In addition, unlike the enchantresses, Puresteel Paladin, and Mentor of the Meek, all of which share card their card drawing mechanics with cards in other colors, this type of effect is exactly the type of card draw I would expect white to get. It is the color of community as well as balance, and card draw that either restores or maintains balance (such as by helping everyone out equally) is quite white flavorfully. I just wish it got more of the Vision Skeins type effects than blue does, as blue has enough other card draw mechanics available that it doesn't need these too. After all, not every player wants to change their deck's colors. The monowhite kitchen table and Commander players may learn to be willing to play this type of card rather than resort to artifact options.

I'm curious... if I ran this with Words of Worship or Pursuit of Knowledge and I chose to replace my card draws, would Truce still allow me to gain 4 life? I'd think it would because of the wording of the spell.

In multiplayer EDH, running Phelddagrif as your group hug commander, drop Puca's Mischief and Laboratory Maniac. Next turn, gift your Maniac to an opponent with Puca, then drop Progenitor Mimic as a copy of Maniac. Each turn, gift the subsequent copies of Maniac until every player has one. Then drop Hive Mind, then Enter the Infinite, and finally, cast *this card* as you quote the flavor text.
