yeah like this guy because of his versatility. I use him in a green black, cycle him, and then use gravedigger or something to bring him back into my hand and cycle again. Its humorous to me to use his own cycling ability to get him into play

combine this card with Cryptic Gateway. Tap two elves and get this guy for free. Forestcycling is always good too.

I don't think this card is so bad, in the beginning when you don't need it you can get a forest to avoid getting mana screwed, and when you have enough mana and it comes to your hand you get a 6/6 fatty.

Yeah, this is one of the rare (only?) elf fatties. Good in an elf deck, others not so much.

Average implementation of landcycling, but I feel it compares poorly to Elvish Aberration and Krosan Tusker.

Not bad! Forest cycling makes him useful early game since you can cantrips for a shock or dual land! Or even dryad arbor. Still no eternal dragon though 3.5/5
