Last card in a mega cycle of red common cards that feature bad things happening to Furt the goblin. See Nosy Goblin and Goblin Lookout.
So the next time WOTC does a Time Spiral-esque set, I fully expect Furt to get a card.

In land destruction, this guy can be a stonerain when you have already four.

Run in land destruction decks as a means to enchantment/creature/nonland permanent removal (assuming you've locked your opponent's lands down sufficiently well).

:( The flavor text of this card means we're never going to see a Furt card if they ever make something like Time Spiral again.

@Fenix: Except Lhurgoyf's flavor text says that Saffi Eriksdotter (the flavor text being her last words, after all) died and yet Saffi Eriksdotter was printed in Time Spiral. Not that a Time Spiral 2 will ever happen, but if it did, there's not reason it couldn't involve an alternate timeline where Furt was the one with the Misguided Rage and Varv is the one that dies, or where instead of dying Furt's spark ignites and he becomes a planeswalker.
A red card that can possibly get rid of enchantments. There aren't many of those... Like Tyrant of Discord, it's unlikely enough that it will result in the removal of an enchantment that even color pie purist Mark Rosewater would be okay with it. It's too bad that it doesn't instead read "Choose creature, artifact, or land: Target opponent sacrifices a card of the chosen type" instead, as it would give you more control over what they have to lose, even if you wouldn't be able to get an enchantme...
