My first dragon I ever had. Decent attacker and search engine at the same time. Also the art is absolutely awesome ^^

I once ran a deck with 4 of these along with a lot of other morphing creatures like quicksilver dragon and dermoplasm. The key to the deck was skirk alarmist; she could have a chain of hellkites in the air as early as turn four.
That's really the only way I would use this guy. Hes way too expensive otherwise.

Some Kamigawa flavor in the art.

7 mana for a 6/6 flier that allows to cast another dragon next turn is not bad.
A very good use for Geosurge.

Whenever this shows up in our games, my friends and I each start humming the Imperial March in unison.

Beautiful butterfly dragon~ I'd love to see more dragons with this art direction. Same thing again but as a ETB rather than morph trigger and we'd have a sweet Squadron Dragon, and any kind of card advantage in Red is deeply appreciated.
