The best thing this card has going for it is the fact that it doesn't have the "whenever this creature deals combat damage" clause that most discard creatures have. The discard isn't random doesn't help either, but it's reusable and the fact that it doesn't have to get through is nice. Swampwalk is kind of weird on this card but evasion is always nice.

I thought it seemed alright for a second, but then there are so many like Hypnotic Specter that really make this card not too great.

Seems pretty fair way to hold someone down in a Contaminated Ground style of deck. If often find these kind of cards would rocket in appeal if they were just 2/3 instead.

Not a bad card. Besides giving it ping combos, pretty decent sideboard option against black mirror.
