It's still a perfectly good critter for any control or lock-down deck. It still scares me more than a Goblin Piledriver. At least with the Piledriver I know that if it kills me it'll kill me within a couple turns. If the Magpie kills you, it's going to be a 20-turn death pecking and that's way worse.

This card is like in every control and lockdown deck I've ever made. I know there are much more efficient creatures to replace it by now, but it's just so damn hilarious and flavorful.
