Doesn't seem very powerful, but he is. As soon as he comes online, burn for creatures starts to suck. Combat becomes a lot tougher.
Plus, he looks kinda underwhelming, so they usually won't kill him off.

@bioporn: I think the Nantuko are basically advocating atheism, by the logic of "if the gods aren't answering your prayers, then they either don't care about you, or they don't exist". Of course, maybe they are advocating nature worship in their place, since "nature" is something physical and real, that one can rely on.
