This is nothing close to Time Walk, Parallax. It's one of my favorite cards ever, but it's not that powerful. Aggro decks don't terribly mind skipping their main phase, when they can just take one to throw down all of their low-cost stuff, and control decks don't mind skipping their combat phase at all. They will remove the card before they need to attack, for sure.
When I first opened this card in a pack (one of my first rares ever), I thought that multiples would stack. Now that sure would be good. But alas, Fatespinner will only ever be played for fun. Maybe in the future, a remake will get printed that stacks with each other. All they need to do to balance it is pick another phase or two to pick from (upkeep, untap?).

You know you're a Johnny when you want actually good cards to have a drawback just so you can have more fun abusing it.
I honestly wish this applied to yourself as well. Why? So you could feel dirty and clever by abusing it with things like Recycle and Damia, Sage of Stone. I was going to say Necropotence too, but if you don't already feel dirty using that card you're just heartless.

To all people complaining that (creature of your choice) is vulnerable to removal/is a Doom Blade-Terminate-Wrath of God-Gelectrode-whatever target/has a bullseye on it etc. etc. :
There is a reason that only a few creatures have regenerate/shroud/indestructibility/persist/whatever. Pointing out that a creature whose concept is not combat-oriented is susceptible to removal is like this:

Moreover, sometimes it's good to force your opponent to use whatever removal he/she may have, or to cast that pesky Gatekeeper of Malakir too soon. Thnik outside the box, for a change.

Doesn't work well with Paradox Haze, they can just choose the same thing on both upkeeps and don't skip anything extra.

She's an extremely vulnerable young lady with a giant, blinking bullseye on her back. Luckily, Whispersilk Cloak was in the same set. She really, really, really, really needs it, because the second your opponent gets ahold of any sort of removal or burn, she's gone.
She's one of my pet cards. She's MAI WAIFU.
