Goes to infinite power, and infinite mana with Umbral Mantle. Even if you don't want to go infinite, it's in the color that has the most untapping effects, and the most power boosting. A fun casual card.

In EDH, if your general is Kamahl, Fist of Krosa, you can always overrun a few times, then tap him to overrun a few more times.

3 Overruns from Kamahl = 10/11 Joiner, which in turn, can tap for GreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreenGreen, equal to another 2 overruns.

Mind you, if you 15 mana to overrun three times, you'd be better off attacking with Viridian Joiner.
