I'm always pro more awesome trolls, though I don't see why they always want to make these things cost so much mana. At 7 mana it's still basically a big regenerating creature, but is in no way comparable to something like hellkite overlord. Vagrant plowbeasts is similiar in this regard. Why wizards thinks regenerating target other creatures is such a powerful ability I really don't know, especially since the majority of removal interferes with it, such as terminate, unmake, and path to exile. I'm still gearing towards wizards making trolls into a full on race instead of one or two card here and there during each set. Not like we don't have enough goblins or elves after all.

I support the troll tribal movement. Who needs skinny, cowardly baby elves when you can have big, strong, regenerating trolls?

Combos well with Sachi, Daughter of Seshiro, basically granting all shamans "Tap: regenerate this creature."

Agreed w/ the more trolls comment. Never quite understood why elves, rather than any other race, were archetypally green, as they've always seemed more of a blue or white race to me. The only reason, methinks, is because the forest race of fantasy has always been elves.

In a dedicated green deck, the ability to taplessly regenerate any of your creatures is a godsend.
Plus this guy is enormous and also a troll, which is awesome.

Back in the day, he kept Plated Slagwurm alive through multiblocks! He had his day in the "sun."

could be either 6/6 or have a more useful activation cost of G. with the latter this card would actually be not that bad.
