This card is just awesome, since it is not a simple 1 mana 1/1 vanilla creature: it grows as your slivers enter the battlefield, and it's a one-mana powerful creature in the late game.

lots of playability, pays entirely for its self with gemhide and a haste sliver

good, but i prefer a sliver that actually does something. if you are playing only red or black then this is your 1-drop, but white, blue and green have better options.
