3 stars for the combo possibilities. The simple fact this guy says "damage" and not "combat damage" is really nice. Combine with cards like Hermetic Study and you can really start burning a lot of players. Then combine that with effects like Curiosity, Mark of Sakiko, Necromatic Thirst...
If you use him with Sigil of Sleep you can ping and bounce your own creature (like an Ornithopter) and do it multiple times per turn (with some untap effect).
Still quite expensive, hence only 3 stars.

Huh, nowadays, it probably would not deal damage to you. Otherwise, requires some weird combos to really be good.

This is fun with Pariah. Now you just need to have some way to stop the creature you've Pariah'ed from dying long enough for you to kill the opponent. Maybe throw in an Indestructibility or some such.
