New players can't appreciate a card this classic. Maybe that's for the best... it is outclassed lately.

Bury means destroy without possibility of regeneration. Doesn't work with indestructibles.

Still a great and reliable form of spot removal, although it is a little pricey on the mana-cost there. Most people will still prefer cards like Terror due to the 2 drop-mana cost. Of course, multicolor decks get power house cards like Pognify, Terminate and Vindicate...
The ability to kill artifact creatures, however, has made this quite useful over the years. 3/5 for being so iconic and staple...plus helping me deal with a juggernaut or two in the day.

The price is not an issue when you have the "bury target nonblack creature." I cannot count the times I've had Darksteel Forge played with an artifact creature deck. "Indestructible" works against this version, but not the bury reprints!

Anyone complaining about Murder being overpriced needs to remember this was the black removal card back in the day.
Always a classic.
