Combine with aetherplasm, sudden spoiling, ovanize, turn to frog, humble, snake form, incite, into the fray, alluring siren, wall of nets, souls of the faultless, shape stealer, or any awesome blocking ability. AND it has buyback.

Poor Karn. Surrounded by black creatures taunting him, driving him mad. Little does he know he is in the exact same situation as of Mirrodin Besieged. Foreshadowing perhaps? unlikely, but possible. More likely a callback/shoutout.

3/5. Its its own special kind of spot removal. It also deals with Time Elemental which, during that time, saw significant play. Of course, you had to somehow negate your opponent's use of the time elemental's activated ability (Interdeict comes to mind. It deals with those pesky creatures that just like to sit at home and do tricks. Mundungu and Disruptive Student also come to mind... It also forces them to swing into stuff that gets bonuses for blocking.

Generally you use it to lure your opponent's creatures to their death, but with the help of a Memory Crystal or two, you can spam this on your own Agent of the Fates.
