Lots of different cool applications for this card. It works in decks from merciless tier one tournament engines to goofy, how-ridiculous-a-situation-can-I-make multiplayer hybrids. Any card with such focused power across such a wide range, which still manages to produce stories and entertain all the players at the table, more than a decade on from its original printing, must be a classic.

Quite possibly my favourite card ever. You can be losing horribly, but then you drop this and- BAM- you're completely winning. Show me another card that can reverse the game this quickly and I'll put it in my Black-Green Golgari deck instead.

Amazing card that you'd build a deck around. Great in multiplayer, DC10, T4 and with dredge effects that can fill up your graveyard. Great too with cards like Rormid's Crypt so only you get creatures out and you just wipe your opponent's board...especially useful after chump blocking or sacrificing all your creatures...

The "If two of the same Legendary permanent enter the battlefield, both will be put into the graveyard." part will be different come July 13. As the new legend rule applies, it will read "If two of the same Legendary permanent enter the battlefield under the same controller, both will be put into the graveyard." instead.
