Nice card. There really should be a cycle for cards like this:
White: Vigilance
Black: Lifelink
Green: Trample
Red: Haste

Agreed, but red should have first strike instead of haste. Haste is so overused, and the ability pretty much just translates to "when this creature enters play, opponent suffers damage equal to its power".

Don't underestimate how powerful this simple little card can be - it belongs to a relevant tribe, and can set things up for Wing Snare and the like. Besides tricks like that, it can also help you push through an extra chunk of damage if your opponent lacks flying defense.
