Only clever players understand Chrome Mox does not neccesarely have to be worse then Mox Diamond, they're just both made for different strategies. In fast, aggressive decks, Chrome Mox can replace land spots in trade for speed, which leaves more room for other aggressive cards in their deck. And you do not have to imprint a card when played, so it can be fodder for a well timed Shrapnel Blast.

I just realized the art in this card references Escher's Self Portrait. That just makes this card all the more awesome!

This card is awesome. Imprint it onto a Multicoloued card and chose what colour you want. And for free? Youc an't go wrong.

Ironic that this card is in a block which doesn't contain at least one multicolored card.^^

@Astronautic_Bullfrog Now that I'm looking at this closely, the reflection in the Mox reminds me of Mirari. Drawn by the same guy, too.
Weird.

With the Eldrazi out, you can now imprint a card and still get no mana.

It's true that Mox Diamond is better, for many reasons, but chrome is extended-legal, and that's what counts. I use 4 in my Dragonstorm deck, imprinting Kokusho or Bogardan Hellkite that I'd never play from my hand. Wonderful mana boosting.

Soooo... What happens if you exile Misthollow Griffin, then later cast it from exile?
Does the Imprint fail and the Chrome Mox "goes dead" (just as if you imprinted nothing)? Or does it continue to give blue mana?
Also, from the wording, I assume you should imprint Eldrazi...

@Mike-C: No... you exiled Venser, so he's not in the game anymore. The Chrome Mox can tap for /. It doesn't do anything else, it doesn't somehow become a copy of the Venser that you exiled.
