The buyback's a little high...{3} or {2}{G} would make it a better card.

2.5/5. This card was a green staple for quite some time in my collection. 1 less than giant growth...but 1 more if you have enough mana in the late game AND its reusable mid-game. Great for both saving creatures, doing extra damage and killing blocked/blocking creatures. Of course, after the first time it loses a lot of its umph (i.e. the surprise is lost).

I think Mirri was holding out on her elvish pimp.

"Nyeh, what kind of mook could want a card like that?"

(Because you see, it's strictly less intimidating than Brooklyn Fury.)

With the release of the Heroic mechanic, this becomes more interesting. It's a tad expensive, but mid-late game when you can pop 5 mana every turn, being able to get +2/+2 and a heroic trigger every turn is quite attractive.
