Not a very good Sliver. You'd almost invariably get better mileage out of Muscle/Sinew Sliver. Against a NON-sliver creature-heavy deck, it could be advantageous to use this ability on an unblocked sliver to squeeze out more damage - but when won't you be better off with either removal, or a sliver with meaningful evasion, even in that situation? Leave this guy at home.

you know the usefulness in mirror matches can totally backfire if they have more mana, or are attacking

Don't hate. It's still A Sliver. And you know what that means :D
The wonderful thing about slivers
is slivers are wonderful things
their bodies are made out of sinew
they've got muscles on top of their wings
they're hasted, trample, shroud, and shadow
plus one
plus one
plus one
but the most wonderful thing about slivers is
there...
is more than one!
post this on all sliver cards :)

Useless. The uncommon sliver cycle on Tempest was pretty forgettable. The common one, on the other hand, got printed at a pretty crazy power level.

Not entirely useless. Lots of power with this card if you combo it with cards like Ashnod's Altar and Heartstone. It was an alternate victory condition for slivers, aside from Swarm. And if your playing against another swarm, this guy lets you pump one of your unblocked slivers higher. In mirror matches against other sliver players, this card does wonders.

Eh. Muscle sliver is much more effective for cheaper.
