A 2/2 flyer for 2White is about average, add an ability for an extra 1 and the extra toughness to justify turning that into another White and this card is right on curve.

this card is way overcosted. The flying-first strike combo is ok, but since a flyer is going to be in less combat anyway, its not worth so much mana. Also, if it has first strike the extra toughness isn't really so great.

I used to run a couple of these in an equipment heavy white deck. Not sure how I feel about it even today, but it was fairly good in a limited environment.

The spiritual successor to Thunder Spirit from Legends, this gives white some air power before it hits 5 mana and switches to casting angels. It's not a bad card, and an excellent common - and a good target for equipment.
