At least you can be pretty sure when attacking with this guy that it won't take any damage from blockers.

A 2/2 3CMC that is practically unblockable? Not bad.

Darth, it would have been crazy, even if it costed {WW}.

They suretook a weird approach to implementing Shadow back in Tempest.

First strike is pretty much lost on this unless you're playing against a Tempest deck.

Pretty cool. Almost unblockable.

could have shaved a mana off the casting cost to make it more interesting, and it would still die to Terror and maybe not be COMPLETELY broken. kinda? ?

His first strike was probably relevant back when Shadow was common... assuming it ever was. Currently, it's pretty much 2/2 unblockable that cannot block for 3 CMC. Not too bad still, I guess, but I'd much rather some sort of 2/1 for CMC 2.

Had this guy in a white Legacy knight deck. Threw out a Kinsbaile Cavalier and slapped an Armored Ascension on Soltari Lancer, had a shadow knight assassin.
