Apes need to come back as a tribe. I've been jonesin' for a fun ape deck since Tempest.

I can't belive this is just UNCOMMON where as it's a 5/5 for five (as Thaviel pointed out); usually with uncommons if they don't cost atleast six they have some kind of draw back to them, but not this monkey!
I however, WOULD pick/use this ape, you can't for a better mana deal and there are quite a few ape type creatures so, one can theme around them-- just at this point would take some doing to get all the different apes and put them together for a deck, red & green one. Can't have a ape deck without the Kird ape! XD
He's arguably one of the best apes! Cheap and has potential!

I don't love monkey
or ape
not that this card is bad, wouldn't use it outside of limited but in limited its... well it's a 5/5 for 5, sometimes you struggle to get anything with that kind of power in limited without it being unweildy. but... this is a common, at heart.

@sweetestsadist: Well, technically, you could call Human tribal an "ape" tribal. =P Indeed, I sometimes wonder why Humans aren't simply Apes, when one takes into account that all insects (and many non-insects) in this game are simply Insects.

Back with a more relevant creature type as Hollowhenge Beast.
