4 of these have been sitting unplayed in my collection for over 10 years. I really should try to get some use out of them. Strictly better than Maze of Ith, if only all creatures had shadow...

All creatures can have shadow, with the handy dandy Dauthi Embrace! (and a supply of black mana).

Hoses shadow, and adds mana. good.

With the right cards, and the right strategy, this card could be DEVASTATING. So don't judge a book by its shadow.

It's anti-shadow. It's only usefull in Tempest Block Format.

Dauthi Trapper would be better than Dauthi Embrace, since you'd only be untapping one creature with this. Embrace is for your attackers.

Not strictly better than Maze of Ith, but not strictly worse because it actually has a mana ability. Still, I'd play it. Looter Il-Kor is annoying.

This card isn't just for hosing shadow. I use it in my shadow deck with Dauthi Embrace as a {B}{B} reusable targeted Darkness.
