Epic flavor text highlighting the height of Memnarch's delusions of grandeur and the depths of his insanity.
Beautiful art too, and interesting card mechanic.

Actually, I think that's a "yes". The Fist lets you pay WUBRG to cast your spell. Since all five colours were used to casr it, it should get five counters.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this let's you play Pentad Prism or Suntouched Myr with five counters on them, doesn't it?

Nobody's mentioned yet the combo with Channel the Suns? Not just the insane mana-fixing ability, but the ability to get anything out on turn 4. Sure most high-cost cards can be cheated out even earlier through various means, but in a 5 color deck, this combo is easy and consistent. You should already be playing four CtS and maybe four FoS, and be a little more green, not to mention having plenty of expensive goodies to cheat out. So, no needing a 4 card+ combo, no strange requirements or massive luck (3 red cards in hand/get lucky with cascade/it must be the third Sunday in June and your seat must be facing East), just "Turn 3: Fist of Suns. Turn 4: Channel the Suns, Progenitus. GG."

This just gets terrifying when paired with Mycosynth Lattice. Why wouldn't I want to play any spell in the game for 5 colourless mana? Even doing it the hard way and just playing one land per turn gets you Draco, Autocthon Wurm or Emrakul, The Aeons Torn on turn 7 which is pretty good by any reckoning, and it can only get faster with any number of tricks.

Progenitus at half price. Also basically everything that costs 6 or more is now cheaper, by a lot in some cases. A must-have for a 5-color deck, or just any deck that plans on using this as a spell engine. So many normally unreachable spells can be cast with this. Time Stretch, Gleemax, Plague Wind, Searing Wind, whatever you can think of. Great card.

this card is perfect for any sunburst deck or multi color deck. in combination with crystal quarry which lets you tap itself and 5 lands to give you 1 of each color, it practically owns the playing field.
