This is pretty good. Vigilance is often very underrated.

It's not a bad card. The only problem is in an aggro deck, you want more efficient creatures like Leonin Skyhunter and in a control deck, you want a creature that can serve as a win condition, like Serra Angel. It's not a bad card, there's just better options available depending on what you want to do.

Vigilance on a 1/3 flyer isn't really that awfull. Can ping at opponents AND play a so-so defensive role. 2.5 does seem like a fair rating for it since it doesn't have the power of some comparable creatures, but really don't underestimate the vigilance.

It's common, 1/3, and it has flying and vigilance for a CMC of 3. It's also a cat knight, which opens up some tribal opportunities for either type. It never hurts to have a couple more flying knight creatures, especially since you'll probably already have 4 Leonin Skyhunters in the knight deck already if you're running either a cat deck or a knight deck.
