I use it in a Rat Vampire deck; toss in some Blade of the Bloodchief to make non-vampires get the extra +1/+1.

Spikeshot Goblin & Spikeshot Elder absolutely love him, and Kilnmouth Dragon is basically a bigger, badder version of them.
Triskelion is the classic, Deathbringer Thoctar is basically the same, but needs help to get the combo started, and Spitting Hydra is a worse version of the same.
Caldera Hellion has very interesting and powerful synergy.
You could make a decent casual black/red pinger deck based around this concept, though it would probably be better to focus it into a combo deck and pick something to work with the Vampire.

seems like it would be a good finisher in an innistrad vampire deck. Your vamps get bigger if they hit and bigger if they are blocked, making your opponent have to make a lose/lose decision.
Might need some support though, as that type of deck doesn't want to engage the opposing creatures until they have grown a bit.
Hm... on second though, maybe not.

I want to try running him with Caterwauling Boggart and Conspiracy. Make all of my creatures into Vampire Elementals/Goblins that can't be blocked by single creatures and get bigger every time they hit...
Goblins would be the prefered Conspiracy type so they all gain haste, and if you add in the Innistrad vamps (especially Rakish Heir) it gets even more ridiculous.

Combos with Malakir Bloodwitch in the graveyard and Liliana Vess's ultimate. In a big enough multi-player gave, this should be able to one-shot everyone all at once.

The flavor of this vamp & Skyshroud Vampire makes me think golgari colors...they seem to be EVOLVED to be how they are now. I would like to see some green bloodsuckers.

The Triskelion combo gets a lot sillier with Corpsejack Menace or Doubling Season thrown in. Triskelion pings itself or an indestructible creature a thousand or so times, then direct damage to everyone for the win. I hope to get this to work in my EDH deck at some point.
