this would be aweful if it didn't have such fantastic art and flavour text.

Not bad actually, you can get your opponent's support creatures to attack you and you can remove them, or it can force your Darksteel Colossus to do what it should be doing regardless and make it slightly deadlier.

@VoidedNote
While I applaud your attempt to make this useful... I'd rather not force a 3/3 to attack me when I have no other forms of removal (hence, me playing this card), Llanowar Elves or not. And most utility creatures can negate that effort by simply doing what they are there for, tapping to activate an ability.

And on your second point, that's what we in the MTG business call a "win-more" situation. Meaning at that point, you are already winning, so this spell is overkill. If you can get to THAT point, why is this in your deck. If you can't get to the point where this card works, again, why is it in your deck?

I could see this played from a general limited perspective. It makes one of your weaker early game creatures able to compete later on. Like "2RedRed, Sacrifice a 1/1 creature: Put a 3/3 creature token into play. It must attack each turn." And the Flash gives it combat-trick status. But that cost is way below the curve. And I can almost NEVER see... (see all)

An expensive way to make a creature attack every turn or a pump enchantment with a downside (which is also overpriced) hmmm...
