Would be kinda funny with Death Pits of Rath in play.

Could be fun in the right Godhead of Awe deck, with anything that pumps your own creatures' toughness even a little (yay white).

Permanently remove all Bloodghast on the field.

You could use Death Pits of Rath to get more out of this, but it's a whole other color and a much higher mana cost. Try Inflame instead- 3 damage to everything instead of 1.

Yet saprolings are removed from the game anyway!

strictly worse than pyroclasm

will consider it as 1dmg to all for 2cmc

@supershawn: No, it is not in any way strictly worse than Pyroclasm. Do you even know what that phrase means? This removes creatures it kills from the game, and even if it didn't do that the double-edged nature of these cards means it would still not be strictly worse than Pyroclasm. In a deck with lots of 2 thoughness dudes this is infinitely better than Pyroclasm, for example.

Meh. Exiling burnt-out creatures just isn't that relevant during most of my drafts. I'll stick with Rain of Embers. Every point of damage you can squeeze in against an opponent counts when you're playing burn.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
