this guy is great. can get rid of an enchantment, but if you happen to be playing against a deck with few/no enchantments, still get a 2/2 for 2. spirit is a bonus.

@Asmodi1000: Remember, you need to have a mana open to sacrifice Qasali Pridemage. So this card is better in that regard.

A staple in most Ghost Dad decks. That deck utilizes many spirits and arcane spells to gain board control and uses Ghost Council for the kill. Kami of Ancient Law provides repeated enchantment removal thx to soulshift.

Almost strictly better than Ronom Unicorn, thanks to the fact that its a spirit.

Is it possible for him to block a creature and then sacrifice him to destroy a Genju (one that enchants a land allowing it to become a creature) and therefore preventing the damage from those two attackers??

I hate Qasali Pridemage because I love this card. Kami has saved me from oblivion rings and bitterblossoms and all sorts of other terrible enchantments, while serving as a diligent and respectable 2/2 creature who's dealt and taken his fair share of damage.
Even though qasali is multicolored, it's inexcusable for him to also be a 2/2, take care of artifacts as well, and just for kicks he also has exalted.

except there is no reason to play spirits since spirits suck thanks to the entire freaking kamigawa block. They were doing just fine before wizards decided to go LOLOL JAPAN on us

@AXER:
no, because the land becomes a creature until the end of turn, even if the enchantment leaves play.
About the card, this is greatly costed, especially for being in kamigawa. to destroy an enchantment, while having a 2/2 to carry it.. i do like.

Kami of Ancient Law is good, and very splashable, plus he's a hatebear that beats for 2. Hatebears are critical to constructed play, and variety is important! Qasali Pridemage isn't better or worse. The fact that Pridemage is a green creature means it can be Flashfreezed. Pridemage requires mana to activate. While I personally would prefer the Cat Wizard, the Exalted ability doesn't matter as much as you would think. However, being a balance between the utility of Kami of Ancient Law and the raw power of Watchwolf is enough that most would pick him anyway. For example, if I was Zoo, and used my shocklands to curve from Goblin Guide into Pridemage, I would definitely like to have the exalted ability.
