Pretty much useless outside of Kamigawa-block limited. A 2/1 for 3, including two specific mana and a highly situational ability? Eh...I'll take a Goblin Piker or a Coral Merfolk, at least those have significant tribal interactions...*sniff* I love foxes, though...

Protection from Arcane certainly is mostly useless; Protection from Spirits though is useful still outside of Kamigawa block.
Honestly my problem with him is he doesn't have flying; Which would be nice as a blocker since so many spirits do.
Oh well; Still a lot of good non-flying spirits for this guy to block to go along with spirits not being able to block him.
