Spell Crumple is just about better in every way. It's recursive ability puts it over the top.

EDH gold, and I love the art and flavor. 5/5 in EDH, 3.5/5 anywhere else.

My Grimgrin EDH deck relies on Grimgrin to kill the opponent, whether via sac engines or just swinging when he's big, so I've come to hate this card in EDH. Still, 5/5 for being the one card that just sticks a big middle finger to commander.
