Cards that state "play" will trigger this card! "Put" into play are different.

So that means Summer Bloom, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Exploration and Explore or anything with the wording of "play" a land will trigger this card.

I used to run this in my land destruction deck alongside Exploration and Fastbond. It works rather well...unfortunately, it didn't sync with Crucible of Worlds, so I took it out in favor of a third Goblin Welder. It's still a great utility card, though. Very good for mana racing, as people have said here, especially in a land-heavy deck in multiplayer.

When I use this card I have a hard time not pairing it immediately with Greater Good. The reasoning is that this is a dead draw quite easily and GG helps you quickly syphon cards throughout the game ensuring you get the benefits of this card without the drawbacks; thus you can throw 4 maindeck and go crazy ramping while you have no worries about the potential dead draws of multiple GG's or Burg's.

I'm not sure how this card works if your oponents has a Burgeoning as well.
Suppose he/she plays a land. You may react by putting a land in play. Does this mean he/she can put also put another land into play?

it's interesting and works well against wasteland/crucible and exploration, by matching your tempo with you opponent's. Running both this an exploration in the same deck may not be a bad idea, especially if you happen to be running realms uncharted or gifts ungiven.

Storm Cauldron: ensures your opponents are always playing lands and you'll always have a significant mana advantage.

@Lord Sauron: No, it says in the rules that putting it into play without playing it (i.e. from Rampant Growth) will not trigger it
